AMCA 2026 Video Contest

We are excited to announce a new video contest for 2026! This year we have 2 themes to choose from and with a $2100 prize pool you don’t want to miss out!

Your video can be any style, eg. Vlog, get ready with me, music video, reel/montage, Q&A, etc. So long as it fits the theme, you can choose any style or format of video!

You can submit a video by yourself or work with a friend or group as well.

Entries close in October 2026 so be sure to have your submissions filled before then!

All judged by panel 

  • Grand prize $1200 – best overall video 
  • Runner up prizes x3 $300 
  • Best story 
  • Best cinematography  
  • Most creative
  • By default, after receiving the video submission from students, AMCA will upload to our channels.  However, the student can choose to upload the video to their personal social media account if they want to.  
  • Order of videos posted in social medias would be based on the order of their submissions.  
  • By submitting entries, you approve that AMCA could use your videos for promotional purpose in the future. 
  • Participants may submit multiple videos, but only the one will be considered for the prize.  
  • If AMCA detects any unusual inappropriate behaviour/contents in the video, such as AI generated images, the panel will check and decide to disqualify. 
  • Students may enter as a group or make a collaborative video, any prize money can be shared among all members. 
  • The contest must receive the total of 15 entries to give out the awards. Please encourage your classmates to join! 
  1. Video (required)*:  
  • Format: Any basic video format (.MP4, .MOV, etc) 
  • Length: maximum 3 minutes 
  • Ratio: ideally 16:9 (landscape) or 9:16 (vertical) 
  1. Photo (optional): 
  • One photo of your choice in 1:1 (square) ratio to display on the main contest web page.  
  • If there is no photo submitted, we will capture a screenshot from your video.
